No! By default, eliminated photos are moved to a subfolder named to_be_deleted/ inside your image directory, giving you full control over when to permanently delete them. If you choose macOS Trash in Settings, they can be restored at any time via Finder "Put Back".
All standard formats: .JPG, .JPEG, .PNG, .WEBP, .BMP, .GIF. Non-image files (documents, videos) in the folder are automatically ignored.
The bracket engine uses standard tournament rules: with an odd count, one photo is randomly awarded a "bye" and advances to the next round automatically.
Press Cmd+Z (or click Undo). The app immediately restores the rejected file back to its original location and reopens the matchup.
